Chris Emry

Mornings 5:30am-10am

Once upon a time in Whittier, CA, the dearly departed Mother Emry delivered young Christopher. Years later, after successfully avoiding learning anything useful in school, he stumbled into his college radio sation and has been coasting ever since. From Southern California to the U.S. Virgin Islands to Baltimore in 1975, Chris has managed to sucker lots of radio stations into putting him on the air, all the while managing to stay off of "America's Most Wanted". Over the years, Chris has made his presence known on Baltimore/DC stations, such as, 98 Rock, DC101, WPOC, WQSR, and B104.3. Join 100.7 The Bay, Baltimore's Classic Rock as we celebrate Chris Emry's 30 Years in Baltimore Radio all year long!

Michael Filippelli

Morning News & Sports 5:30am-10am

For Michael it doesn’t get a-n-y better than playing Rock ‘N Roll music and talking sports on his hometown classic rock station. Great things have happened here in “The Land of Pleasant Living” in sports and in our nations history and Michael loves discussing them all. In September of 2008 Michael will mark 30 years on the air from Welch & Bluefield West Virginia through Hilton Head South Carolina, Ocean City, Maryland and for the past 15 years, right here in Baltimore. Count him among the biggest of Ravens, Orioles and Terrapins fans and he’s also a Hopkins lacrosse junkie. Golf, concerts, golf, sports, golf, history, golf, Stone Harbor, golf and Baltimore just about sums him up!

Klug

Afternoons, 3pm-7pm and weekends

Born in Annapolis, MD, Klug spent his first year drinking Red, White and Blue cans in Pasadena, MD. At the ripe age of two, he was on a boat overseas to write songs with Jimmie Page and John Paul Jones. After a couple of years on the road performing with Zeppelin, Dean Martin, The Doors and Britney Spears, he woke up one morning surrounded by drunk midgets and naked juggling German men. It was then and there that he realized this was not the life for him. Radio was the only other option. You may have heard him on 96 Rock or 97.1 The Fox in Ocean City, MD, 94.7 WRDX in Wilmington, DE, B104.3 here in Baltimore, or WBAB on Long Island, NY. Now, he's finally back home.

What is your favorite Classic Rock song and why?- "Easy- The Rain Song by Led Zeppelin.  Why?  It was me and the wifey’s wedding song.  And if I said any other tune, she’d have a bazooka aimed at the door waiting for me to get home.

Randy Johnson

Nights 7pm - Midnight

Being in radio satisfies one of Randy's Triple Crown of fantasies, with replacing Gene Simmons in KISS and playing hockey for his hometown Buffalo Sabres yet to be realized. Considering he has average-at-best athletic talent and no musical talent whatsoever, he's not holding his breath. Randy was in 17 schools in five different states growing up, but found some stability in a fifteen-year run doing radio in Harrisburg PA. before deciding to come (or force his way in by gunpoint, depending on what version you want to believe) to Baltimore and give big city living a shot. Talking classic rock/hard rock, and debating all sports, especially hockey and football, are Randy's favorite past-times.

What is your favorite Classic Rock Song and why?- "My favorite classic rock song of all-time is Rock and Roll All Night b y KISS.  It all goes back to playing street hockey in the basement of my friend Mike Beers in Darien Center NY.  This was 3rd grade, 1977.  There was this racket coming out of this stereo set he had in the basement, and when I asked him what band was playing, he told me KISS.  A year later, I was dressing up as Gene Simmons for Halloween (complete with spitting ketchup for blood), and KISS has been my all-time favorite band for 31 years now.  Rock and Roll All Night was the first rock anthem I ever heard, and it ranks as my favorite to this day. "

Mike Brilhart

12 Midnight-6am and Acoustic Cafe

Mike has been working in Baltimore radio since 1981. Born and raised in Charm City, Mike has worked a variety of stations, including WWIN, 97 Underground, and most recently, B104.3 for the last seven years. You may also recognize Mike's voice from the "good old days" of Hammerjacks Night Club as a DJ from 1987-1994. Mike is involved in his community of Dundalk and enjoys playing and coaching many sports. Mike says ""I'm very lucky because I get to play the music I grew up with in a town I grew up in. Most DJ's never get a chance to do that!"

AJ

AJ is a born and bred Baltimorean. His early issues began in Rosedale. After graduating, (term is used liberally), from Overlea High School, AJ went on to major in Mass Communication at Essex Community College because the place is just like high school and AJ felt at home. After realizing that he didn’t need to go to real college and didn’t need no stinkin’ degree to be in the buiz, he went on to explore the deep dark depths of what we call RADIO. With stops in York, PA; Chambersburg, PA and Washington D.C.,   he was blessed by the good Lord above (actually the P.D. felt sorry for him) and was called for duty in his hometown with Baltimore’s Classic Rock Station 100.7 The Bay!!!

You can catch AJ on the weekends and with the occasional fill-in.

Rich Fisher

Weekends

Rich grew up on Long Island, the proud home of Billy Joel, Zebra, Pat Benatar and Joey Buttafuco.....wait, what?

Rich has been on-air in San Diego, Long Island, and on Maryland's Eastern Shore at various radio stations before becoming a part of the 100.7 The Bay family.  Rich says that "working at 100.7 The Bay is the best thing that's happened to me in radio.  Imagine having to pretend to like Celine Dion - type music, it was aweful!  Now I get to play the best music ever recorded and it's freakin' great!"  We couldn't agree more.  Rich's favorite classic rock artists include The Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Kinks, Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Stevie Ray Vaughn, AC/DC, Neil Young, and Hendrix.

Sarah Taylor

Sarah Taylor is a recent grad of Towson University where she studied all things theatre and music. The most rockin' thing she did during her duration at school was belt out the show opener Aquarius from the top of a giant metal bus for a production of Hair. As luck would have it, Sarah fell into traffic reporting during her last year in school when she became a fill-in for The Bay's own Mama Meredith Marx. You may have heard her reporting on the roads on WJZ or WMAR. A year in traffic and one demo tape later The Bay took a chance on her, and she intends to keep playing the great classic rock as long as they'll let her!

What is your favorite Classic Rock song and why?-

This question is difficult because every time I think I have it nailed down I think of something equally amazing and I have to compare everything again. Here's my top 5, in no particular order. The first 2 songs are on the list for their merit as songs that I LOVE to sing, and the second 3 songs are just unbelieveably wonderful in their own special way.

Paradise By The Dashboard Light - Meat Loaf
Heartbreaker - Pat Benatar

Turn the Page (Live) - Bob Seger
San Tropez - Pink Floyd
Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You - Led Zeppelin

Meredith Marx

Traffic

Meredith's E-mail

Born and raised in Baltimore, Meredith started doing traffic in March of 2000 then switched over to TV to became the FOX 45 morning news traffic reporter for 2 years. While doing TV, Meredith was the news reporter for the Frank Skii morning show in Atlanta and in 2003, she came back to DC to work for DC101 and 97.1 FM. "It's good to be back in B'more and back on 100.7 The Bay. It's always hectic working a split shift while rasiing twin girls. Life is good!

What is your favorite Classic Rock song and why?- "Ok, some people might totally disagree with me but I have a strong connection to "Keep Talking" Pink Floyd. My dad did the sound for Floyd for years and I always heard about their incredible shows with the pink pigs with laser eyes. I finally got to see the Division Bell tour and I was truly blown away. The production of that show alone made me appreciate concerts more than ever. So, keep talking by Floyd is a wonderful memory I have of Floyd "live"! It was stupendous and flawless. Plus I met the band and that was crazy exciting for me!!"

If you were stranded on a desert island, who would you want to live for the rest of your life and talk classic rock with?
